   My name is Marlee and my Mother’s name is Hope.I am 29 and my Mom is 47. We have grown up together over the years and have learned on our journey how irritatingly alike we really are. We are both lovers of travel, food, booze and just all things fun. New experiences & New ideas is a passion we possess.

   

  We also enjoy the things that make us uniquely different. I tend to gravitate toward the dark, halloweeny, witchy, and all things fall spectrum. While My Mom on the other hand is drawn to more lightness, love, sunshine, beachy, and all things Disney.

 

  We have spent a large portion of our work history being dedicated to the hospitality industry. Both of us have been servers throughout different points of our lives. My mom has also managed restaurants and worked for a company that specialized in preparing restaurants for a food inspection. She has currently branched out into real estate and is working towards her license. After high school I pursued a career in cosmetology and obtained my license and have built a business with it over the last eight years. Along the way I went back to school received my associates degree and plan to pursue a career in the medical field. 

 

  This year both of our lives went under a major change due to COVID 19. With both of us being laid off from work we decided to use this unexpected free time to pursue our creativity. In our down time we have been exploring and finding new ways to reignite and use our passions and get back to enjoying those things we have been missing. This is what has fueled us to create our blog.

 

We welcome you to join us as we start our new journey in the new norm and to find unique ways to continue exploring, and of course pursue our passion for good food, booze, travel, and fabulous fun!

We are looking forward to sharing our great finds whether at home testing loved and new recipes or setting out on local adventures. Our mission is to invite the idea of living life to the fullest with an open mind and a zest for life even in this crazy year of our Lord 2020

 

Our bi-weekly blog will incorporate at home videos of cooking and drinking.

We are also hoping to feature a specialty cocktail, wine, & beer each blog post.

We are also looking forward to incorporating some of the fantastic local eateries, bars, & theme park finds that Orlando has to offer.

P.S Outside travel to be incorporated as things progress more this year.

 

This is just the beginning for us and we anticipate a broadening of our minds and a flourishing of our creativty in each new step.We hope you will come along with us on this new journey of ours.
