A week ago a few of us ladies decided to kick it up a notch and go have some wine down fun in downtown Orlando. We all decided on one of my favorite local bars called the Wellborn House Bar. If you enjoy feeling like you're in a secret garden while you sip on a delicious cocktail then this place is for you. On Wednesdays their wine down specials are 6$ wines by the glass and 25$ a bottle. These wines aren't the typical ones you usually grab form 7 eleven on a lazy weeknight (you know who you are) they are as I like to say fancy ASF. I had one unfortunately too many of their French white wine option, and it was crisp and refreshing which is perfect on a hot ass Florida summer night. The venue is so unique and interesting and has mastered an atmosphere of comfortable and chic while playing host to very cool vintage furniture, a beautiful courtyard, and many picture perfect photo ops (all for the gram). On top of their wine down Wednesday and happy hour offerings throughout the week they also host an amazing brunch complete with bottom less mimosas. If the atmosphere and drink deals weren't enough to entice you their food is never a disappointment. Although a small menu with tapas style portions their food is always flipping delicious. My personal favorite is the pimento cheese spread and the French fries with a ketchup and lime mayo dipping sauce.
