Jamie's Famous Crab Boil

Here at whiskey teacup we take football SZN very seriously, and we decided to have our very own SUNDAY FUNDAY while filming you guys our newest recipe video. We had our good friend jamie come and join in on the fun and taught us how she makes her incredible Crab Boil. Its chocked full of good seafood, veggies, and lots of old bay YAY!!! She even has an incredible butter sauce to dip all the goodness in. This recipe also paried perfectly with our bloody marys that we made that morning. We hope you guys enjoy this recipe and wish you many succesful SUNDAY FUNDAYS in the future to come.




Ingredients

Serves 3-4 People

  1. Crab legs~ 1 pound

  2. Shrimp~ 1 pound

  3. White potatoes~ 4 large cut up

  4. Onion~ 1 whole diced up

  5. Chicken Sausage- 5 Links

  6. Corn~ 5 ears cut in half

  7. Zatarains's liquid crab boil~ half or whole bottle depending on spice level

  8. Old Bay~ as much as you see fit

  9. Butter~ 4 sticks

  10. Lemon pepper seasoning~1 tablespoon

  11. Garlic~ 5 cloves diced

  12. Garlic powder~ 1 tablespoon

  13. Salt and pepper to taste

Step~By~Step

  1. Fill a large pot with water and bring to a boil on the stove and add the zatarain's liquid crab boil, garlic powder, and S&P to your water

  2. Once boiling and also add your potatoes and cook for 10 minutes

  3. Then add your corn and sausage cook for an additional 20 minutes

  4. While that is cooking start your butter sauce by adding butter to a saucepan on the stove and turn on a low heat, you do not want to burn your better so watch your heat

  5. Add garlic, lemon pepper, & old bay to butter

  6. cook on low heat contunally stiring until melted and well combined

  7. Getting back to the boiling pot once the 20 mins is up add your diced onions to the water as well and cook for another 7 minutes

  8. Once that time is up add your crab legs and shrimp on the bottom of a large pan, then layer your boiled veggies and sausage on top of the seafood

  9. Then laddle your broth into the pan about 1/2 way

  10. Season the top with more old bay, s&p, and parlsey

  11. Cover the top with foil and place in a 400 degree oven for 15 minutes

  12. Once done plate it up and whip out your butter sauce and enjoy :)
