Miami Food Roundup

I was fortunate enough to get away for a couple of days with my boyfriend and headed to Miami. Of course because of the foodie that I am I made sure to hit a couple of the instagram famous restaurant and bars while I was there. I was thankfully not disappointed in any of them ! So I am just going to share these places with you guys so next time you find yourself in the Miami springs area you can be sure to check them out 😁🥳👌

Airport Cafe and Liqours

This place was my absolute favorite place we ate at ! It’s a quirky little place that doubles as a liquor store and restaurant. They have lots of options on their menu including breakfast. I got the Dr. Pepper burger and my Boyfriend got one of their daily special sandwhiches which was a breaded shrimp patty. they were both so good like drool worthy good 🤤🤤 I am so particular about my burgers and this one did not disappoint !! It was juicy and flavorful and topped with multiple pieces of cheese which made my fat girl heart sing. We like this place so much we tried to go back one more time, but unfortunately ran out of time before we had to leave.

Vera Cruz Brewing

My boyfriend loves craft beer so when traveling we make it a point to stop at local breweries. We found this one on google maps and decided to give it a shot and ended up stumbling upon a really cool art district. every business in that area was covered in amazing grafitti art. It felt like a little funky paradise tucked away behind the mirage of plain concrete neighborhoods. The brewery was a success as well ! It was a cool atmosphere with great service and really delicious beer cocktails that I personally enjoyed. They have a very large patio area with T.Vs and a food truck for munching.

Ichimi Ramen

This was another google maps find when we were out and about one day. It’s a little hole in the way place located in a city center. the Ramen was incredibly delicious both me and my boyfriend got different styles, and although I liked mine I definitely liked his better which was the spicy curry ramen. The only reason I gave a 9/10 is because they were out of a lot of things we wanted to try, and we ordered some appetizers that never came 😢BUT as a server I do know that stuff happens ! so even though it wasn’t the greatest service experience the food was delicious and think it still deserves a shout out 👏

Little Hen

I had seen this place mentioned during my searches through Instagram and was excited to try it ! I had breakfast there by myself before hitting the road back to head home. Both the atmosphere and food were awesome 👌 This is a great spot for lunch/brunch with the girls lots of cute photo op areas 🤳💁‍♀️ I was interested in doing the British style tea time they advertised, but upon arriving found out that was only available by reservation only. So I ordered the next best things to start off with which was their scones (they were very scrumptious) and an espresso martini which was damn good 🍸 for an entree I decided on chicken and waffles which was also really good, I was thrown off by the fact that the chicken was Actually just tenders like you’d find in a kids meal, but I have to say they were really tender and flavorful and were not a disappointment. I was unforuantely too stuffed to try any of their other coffee drinks out, but they look gorgeous on their Instagram account.

This stop was one of my choices as I love this brand of beer ! I usually don’t like IPA’s, but their white IPA is my jam 🍻 the venue was large and spacious and had a decent food offering. we got the giant pretzel to munch on and it was great ! I also got to try a few different beers by them and I enjoyed them all. They also do canned and bottled beer to go so I was fortunate enough to be able to stock up on a few of my favorites 🥳
