Black Bottom Banana Bread
Ingredients
1 1/2 cups of flour
1 teaspoon of baking powder
1 teaspoon of baking soda
1/2 teaspoon of salt
3 to 4 ripe mashed bananas (depends on how punched in the face you like to be by banana flavor)
1/2 cup of butter softened
1 cup of sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
1/2 cup chocolate milk mix (Ovaltine preferably)
Directions
Pre heat your oven to 350 degrees F
Combine together in a medium sized bowl all of your dry ingredients flour, baking powder, and salt
In a mixing bowl beat together the butter and the sugar until fluffy
Add your egg and vanilla to the butter mixture and mix until combined
Add your banana's to the butter mixture and mix until well combined
Slowly add your flour mixture until well combined
Split the batter into two separate bowls. I usually just eye ball, but if you'd like to be more precise you can
To one of the halved mixtures add the chocolate drink mix until well combined
Assemble by adding the chocolate mixture to the bread pan first and spread evenly
Add on top of that the other mixture and spread evenly
The idea is to keep the batters separated but if they mix together a bit it'll still be friggin delicious
Pop in the oven for an hour to an hour and ten minutes depending on your oven
Once done slice it up and serve with a slab of butter and enjoy
